The authorship of the Hanuman Chalisa is attributed to Tulsidas, a poet-saint who lived in the 16th century CE. I still remember this song since my childhood. I was very sick those days, I was only 6-7 years old. I only remember this song coming from nearest temple in very morning. Since then, this song make me feel connecting my aatma(soul) to Supreme(Ishwar). This song was written by Goswami Tulsidas ji. Tulsidasji's parents were killed by Islamic invader Akbar and Akbar's mission was to crush and to end the Sanatan dharma and their ideals. But Tlsidas ji contributed to guard Sanatana dharma through his writings, bhajans, Songs, Hanuman's temples in every corner of North and East India in those era. Just after, completing my age of 12 years, i remembered the whole song. After reaching the age of 24 years, i became expert of knowledge about Sanatan Dharma by reading Satyarth Prakash ( Light for truth). This song was seed of all this happenings.
