Even story is not same they were going to make ganesha prathampujya but debat started on that so shiva said all gods to come in and make 3 whole rounds but before race starts shiva said to ganesha and kartik that for child their parents our always their world but kartik interpreted it differently so the story goes..... I too love dharma speaks videos. Binge watched them just to learn my own religion. I had experienced them as a Hindu but never pondered to understand the symbolism and rationale behind them. Also wanted to clarify that when Ganesha goes around Shiva and Parvati it can be symbolically translated as using ones intellect to realize that this world is just a combination of consciousness represented by Shiva and prakriti as ma Parvati. 🙏 So just understanding this fact will give one the highest fruit of enlightenment. In this lifetime.

Our Farsighted sages simplifies deep scientific truth in a story so that the common people can understand and benefited by it.
