India can start another payment mechanism for Russia but will never go de-dollarization for Brics , since India and China can never come to the same page. I don't see there is any future of Brics.

@@kirannnnnn yes there is a problem and the problem is main player of Brics is China , and this new payment system will make China even stronger and India knows it very well that China is biggest threat to India and India will never repeat the same mistake which Nehru did by trusting China. If some day India feels need of making new payment system it should be based on Rupee , we don't need any Chinese help for that.

Still border standoff is going on , just one year ago when we were fighting covid , they attacked us our 20 soldiers got veergati because of that , still experts are confused why did china attacked when relation between India and China was improving . China is trying to surround us by building military base near us , china is arming pakistan , they support pakistan on every issue against India , building bri in pok without India's permission. They claim 3 Indian states. But Some people are still in illusion of Hindi chini bhai bhai . Thank god we have a mature FM who takes decision according to situation not with emotion.

West they allow you to grow economically to some extent ,at some point they come after you, Even today the West what they are doing in india internally is absolutely worrying to me, china & pakistan visible enemies for us . Remember west 18,19,20,21st centuries ,you need to be carefull. By 2030 you can see india taking sides more aggressively but we need BRICS to balance the west. We are not in any west groupings , even quad is indo Pacific group. One problem West growing influence in india is growing Christian converted population and violent Islamic population , demography is changing slowly . No country /civilization survived by change of demographics Demography is the biggest threat than china & pakistan. This demography , language , Religion , culture is playing are also one of the key points in Russia Crimea annexation and eastern Ukraine . China India are also oldest civilizations , colonized , humiliated for centuries.

The west has never supported India economically or in defence. Why should India trust the west? West did not even verbally condemn china when it recently moved into Ladakh. We have to negotiate our own peace with China. And we should precisely do that and use BRICS to do so.

It is in India's interest to facilitate making BRICKS countries into a NATO-like military alliance. China will gladly settle our borders if India agrees to do so. It will also help in bringing Pakistan to heal. Economically, it will open up 66 countries as part of the 4 trillion $ Chinese OBOR project for India to commercially exploit.
