The only real poddy calf on my grandparents farm died. He would have been a great pet but sadly he died from sickness. His mother died too from the same sickness. I remember visiting her, the poor cow was lying down and I poured water on her so she could stay cool. But the second poddy calf my granddad and I fed milk to, but then we let her stay with the herd and try to get some milk. He is small still but he is okay.
