And they were tied even after the Americans got Aly's scores raised. But the tie was broken because of Aly's higher difficulty.

That's a good point however if you watch the Olympics the other teams (during the team finals) the American girls were cheering each other on and.. well not being more intimate but their ambience was more proud of each other compared to the other country teams.

I'm aware of that. But even after the Americans complained, Aly was still tied with Ponor. So she got her bronze medal because of a tiebreaker. What I find funny is Americans only have a problem with the rules when it doesn't help them. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. A lot of Americans complained when the Romanian women gymnasts swept the medals in Sydney. Hence the change for just two from each country. Than they have the nerve to cry years later when it hurts them.

i'm a feminist AND a masculinist. being only one would make you sexist because it would mean you weren't advocating for the other gender's rights. Now how exactly am i disregarding the male gender when I say both male and female athletes in the olympics are oversexualised? You sir, clearly are not making a point by accusing me of "promoting double standards".

I've heard girls my age say things (all the time) like "wow he's so hot I bet he has a massive dick" and just gawping at his abs. That's the exact same thing. It's double standards! There's nothing wrong with wanting to have sex though; it's what we are genetically programmed by evolution to do. You can say someone has a fanastic ass, and still recognize their incredible ability as a gymnast.

Oricum cat a realizat fata asta nu vei realiza tu nici in sapte vieti.

It's not wrong to find someone sexually attractive, and it's just the same for the guys; all I heard in the olypmics over here in the UK was "Oh Tom Daley was so hot".

If Americans are so much better, why did it take so long to finally win gold on floor? Heck an American gymnast couldn't even win AA until 1984. And America needed Romanians to come over to accomplish that. Even then they're still playing catch up to this day. Some superiority. And Aly will be 22 in 2016. Forget winning more medals, she probably doesn't even make the team. Just like the American girls of the last few Olympics... Liukin, Johnson, Patterson, etc.

Seriously why is everyone accusing me of being a sexist feminist? Don't get me wrong, I think people like Tom Daley are waaay too oversexualised as well but this video was about female gymnasts so that's why i only commented about women. I get that its a natural thing to find someone attractive but saying you want to bang all these athletes is like not seeing them as a person but rather as a sexual object. The olympics should be about valuing people for their hard work not sexualising them.

Interesting. So why all the whining about how Raismin was robbed and deserved a bronze for AA? That tiebreaker was no more unfair than the one that cost Ponor a medal. If people are mad about it, blame Aly. She should have done better.
