I have to say just listening to the trailer I am so happy already because YOU NAILED THE CHORUS WITHOUT PITCH SHIFTING IT DOWN. I have this just dumb happy grin now because I loved your original cover of this song but felt the pitch shift was really noticeable in not the best way, and so now almost 2 years later hearing you nail those notes without the pitch shift just gets me excited so much for the full song.

Not Raison d'etre being one of my favorite Eve songs and having a bit of bias, but this was freaking good, your translyrics just becomes smoother and smoother, and you really killed the chorus. Ahh, it's so good. I also adore your "How to eat Life" Cover, I think it's amazing how similarly the covers flow to the original. And I resonate with the concrete depiction of the lyrics so much. I obviously can't tell if it's 100% accurate or not but even if it isn't, I don't think that matters. I feel like I really get it here, maybe because it's more clear and concrete simply by not being japanese (/ directly translated) haha- Either way I've been listening to this non-stop, especially 2:33 - 3:00. It just sounds beautiful and the lyrics just... they hit different haha. thank you for this cover

The translations aren't direct, no, but they are based off of a direct translation and transformed into lyrics based on my interpretation. So they're accurate to the song's original translation, but made to be musical- rhyme, tell a cohesive story, fit syllable-count, etc!
