This is my 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak. On the outside you will notice the color Plum Crazy, 20in wheels and double-bulge hood. On the inside you will be greeted by a cloth interior, 8.4in infotainment screen and 200MPH speedo. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged V8 churning out 717HP & is mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual. Yesterday was a very sad day for us Mopar fans. The very last Dodge muscle car rolled off the assembly line at the Brampton Assembly Plant. A good friend of mine retired from there years ago but was on site and posted some pics to FB. It was a Black Challenger Demon. Sad day for us car guys. I am a huge Mopar fan and currently own a Charger SRT 392 (my 4th Charger and 3rd SRT). Thanks for showing the LX platform so much love over the years, Joe.

Oh wow I posted my comment during the beginning of the vid and didn't even realize this is your car. Congrats. I always wanted a Plum Crazy Charger. When I ordered my 2016 SRT I missed the availability of the color by about 2 weeks IIRC. They discontinued it that year. Glad they brought it back.

I know these will make a comeback. They are stylish, comfortable and powerful. Perfect for cruising in the city or speeding at the track or countryside. They almost beat the mustang in sales but they are being discontinued. One more year and i would bet money that it would sell more than the camaro and mustang. Too bad it's over for now.

Yep. The idiots at Stellantis are literally giving the middle finger to their core buyer base. It won't end well. The Challenger and Charger may not have the exact same 6.2L, but there'll be some kind of rumbling V8 at some point again, not just an ECar with speakers making cat noises(what an embarrassment)

Congratulations. I have a 2019 Challenger Hellcat Widebody with the 6 speed. I highly recommend switching out the stock shifter with a Barton short throw shifter. It makes a huge difference.

Barton makes an extremely quality product, much more robust than the Hurst I put in my 5.7L or the factory unit. Only comment I would make is that the self-centering spring takes a bit of getting used to, specifically on the 1st to 2nd shift, shifter constantly wants to go in that 3rd & 4th gear "lane". Superior piece of equipment compared to factory, by all means, just something to know about before purchasing. I got the black stick/black ball and white pistol-grip, love them both.

@@B1c4o Actually it's due the current parent company and ridiculous government regulations. Although I suspect there will be a next generation from Dodge, with more "friendly" engines. And no, they will not be all electric IMO. Car sales rule the game, as the Mustang has demonstrated from it's inception. Dodge will not survive without replacements that will sell at volume levels. But I wouldn't be so quick to write them off, yet. Regarding the Mustang. Always a great car, although I prefer the last gen over the current next gen. Believe what you may, but the Challenger, Charger and Camaro are (were?) also great cars...

Ford has the same regulations to contend with but it's not stopping them from producing the Mustang. As a matter of fact the next GT 500 may have a version of the 7.3 liter engine twin turbocharged. We will see..@@bryanme5771

I ordered one months ago. The last 6-speed muscle car ever. They only made about 300 of these widebody manual examples for the final year. Mine will be here soon and I got the exact same Plum Crazy Pearl paint with the Brass Monkey Devil’s Rims and badges and the Demonic Red interior. Love your vids man

Since I have been watching your videos, I know that you were a teacher for many years, and I am currently in school at the University of Houston to become a teacher myself. I love Mopar, the Dodge Challenger and Charger are so cool. I know that as a teacher, I will not be making a lot of money however after I get my job as a teacher, I am going to do my best to get a Dodge Challenger myself. However if I could I would buy a 2018 Dodge Demon or 2023 Dodge Demon 170 or a 2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat Jailbreak since this year 2023 is the Last Call on the V8 internal combustion engines.

Congrats Joe!.....you helped inspire me to get my 392 6sp WBSP, I freakin' love it. First think you need to do is put some summer rubber on that thing. Can't barely get 500hp down to the ground w/that 3.91 rear end and Pirelli all-seasons (not sure why these come standard on Hellcats) can't imagine 717hp. Also, I know how you hate the factory vacuum cleaner exhaust tips. Mopar performance parts used to sell a square, quad tip setup that looked pretty good. Enjoy the hell out of your new car and welcome to the Mopar fam.!

Joe I 100% Agree on the wheels ,They are my favorite ,I like these better than the supposed "upgraded wheels" I do however live the red calipers and that it "Does Not " have a sunroof.Its basically how I ordered my 2024 2SS 1LE ,it's a M6 with NO sunroof ,red seatbelts &A performance data recorder and the car is sharkskin metallic ,Actually u can see it if u click on this account ,I put the day I picked it up on here...That's a beautiful car u have there Joe &Lori ,the best of luck with it
