Is the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 the BEST new sports car to BUY?

The ALL NEW 911 GT3 is the perfect example of a Porsche and for 2022 there are a ton of changes. Under the engine cover is a 4.0L flat-6 that pumps out 502HP & is mated to your choice of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK gearbox. On the outside there is a new front fascia carbon fiber front trunk lid and swan neck wing. On the inside there are full carbon fiber race seats, 10in infotainment system, and analog tach. Is the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 the BEST new sports car to BUY?

Great review Joe! The sound of the car is amazing and it was easy to tell how much you liked it. A GT3 or GT3 RS has been on the top of my list for a car to own. Unfortunately, they are out of my price range. Maybe someday if I’m lucky.

This GT3 looks absolutely marvelous in this python green. Also, when we're talking about extra width on any 911, none do it better than the folks at Guntherwerks with their resto-mods of the 993 911. Those look absolutely beautiful.

Hey Joe, love all the GT cars but it cost too much to track every weekend like I did for 10-12 years back in the 80’s & 90’s. I shared with you before I am on my 17th Porsche. As far as sports cars are concerned, there is the 911 GT3 (RS too track-focused and uncompromising imho) and then there is everything else. Nobody does a performance vehicle that you can use as a daily, and then as a track weapon down your local twisty like Porsche does. And one of the few companies that listens to their fans and customers by giving them the option of manual or PDK. A modern classic and worth every cent!

Wife bought herself a Carrera 4 S Cabriolet, she pointed out the piano black, “I don’t like that”. “Joe Zonks that” GT3’s ? All kinds of them in the market here in Canada, $400 000 sticker on them. The UK has quite a few of every model for sale. When the £ took a deep dive Rolex and Porsche were a great price for a few days. Joe and Laurie we love you for the education you provide with a big smile and great jokes.

Python Green isnt an interior option you can only get Lizard Green which is brighter and more yellow. You can get the Alluminum or Carbon bits painted in exterior color (Python) for no charge.

Great job Raiti, More and more videos I watch of the Porsche GT3 🤔 My decision to buy one over the new Corvette ZO6 is looking better every time. I'm not saying the Z06 is a bad deal for what you get but when you don't have all the money in the world and you want to get your self the ultimate sports car that is very reliable and problems free the Porsche is looking really good. I guess when you're thinking about spending a 150,000 190,000 on a Corvette you might as well get the manual GT3. The down side of the Z06 is no manual transmission. Good god if the Z06 had a manual transmission it would be a blast to drive.

I think it is Highway 129 outside of Cleveland GA then turning on Highway 19 toward Blood Mountain and Vogel State Park. But, you probably already have your new Porsche and have experienced this road by now. :)
