In many ways it's frustrating being a car enthusiast. There are so many amazing vehicles being made yet there is the painful reality of dealing with markups and the usual painful process of buying from a dealer. It seems like every exciting vehicle that is released like this Bronco Raptor comes an anxious tension that I'll need to fork over an extra $30k just to get my hands on one. At the end of the day it's hard to stomach. I believe that dealerships will cause more and more buyers to give up and buy a Tesla.

I completely agree with this. What a time to be alive and be a car enthusiast! What a terrible time to try and buy one! Dealer mark ups, limited production, high interest rates. I really want a Heritage manual bronco. Zero chance of finding one, let alone Msrp for a year or two, or ever? I looked at the landscape and did as said. We bought a Tesla Model Y LR, and the buying experience online was a simple, amazing experience.

Bronco Raptor has a nice ring to it. Prefer the 2 door in terms of looks but this works too. Jeeps are the norm for off roading and are fun to drive. Liking the exterior lighting, the color Area 51, put some killer wheels on it and/or maybe a light bar just for starters!

@Bryan Washington you are 100% correct about the 2 door! I have a new Eruption Green 2 door Bronco Wiltrak on 37 inch GY Wranglers and EVERYONE stops to check it out. Not because it is a Bronco, but because the 2 door looks so monstrous on 37s lol, especially with the beautiful aftermarket offroad bumpers! Today even an old lady complimented it, in the grocery store parking lot 🤣 I have 2 friends with 4 doors on 37s, but my 2 door gets all the attention!

I would definitely buy this over a wrangler. My ex-wife had a wrangler and I thought it was pretty cheesy didn’t have much in it. It was very sporty and it was a Sahara I believe.

My fiance had a Wranger Rubicon, when we met. I had a 4Runner TRD Off Road as my adventure rig. I found the Wrangler's handling to be bad, it had terrible on-road performance, it would always sway left or right on highway driving requiring constant steering wheel input to stay in a lane. It also tossed you around in your seat, on mild trails. I am not a fan lol

This is the way to succeed going forward in the auto biz; create a product that is narrowly focused on a specific customer use (in this case, tearing around in the wilderness and desert), and go as extreme as you can get. Then price isn't such an issue, and the customers are happy and not even thinking about the competitors. A monster vehicle. Shameful that the stealerships are adding such big markups.

For the price, I would like to see the 3.5L HO Eco boost instead of the 3.0L. However, that thing still gets up and goes! It's not like I can afford something like this. I had the 2.7 Black Diamond and it was cool, but it felt really cheap for how much it was. I think a nice older jeep is far better value and I'm a huge Ford guy. We sold it for a high price and got a Mazda CX-50 with the off-road pack. Was 10k less, gets 10 mpg better and the quality is not even comparable. If the Bronco was less money I'd say it's a super cool buy, but it's overrated right now because it's new.

For everybody’s awareness not sure you jeep guys are aware this isn’t a cross shop with regular wrangler or gladiator. Maybe a 392. Forget the MSRP. It’s 30k over at dealers. It’s $85-100k plus. Not exactly a Willy’s we’re talking here.
