Joe, that's a good quick overall review. I like it. You get 0-60 in 5 seconds, 155 mph, and it gets 32mpg all at under 35k. Plus, it looks pretty good inside and out. I think it is the best value in a sedan out there.

2021 GT owner here. Like Joe said, its hard to get the power down and that 5 sec 0-60 (usually 5.5-5.7 with mine tho i don't have summer tires), but it can be fun to spin the wheels sometimes. Everything else tho, spot on. Amazing value, amazing car.

GT1 package gives it a bunch of features including Bose system, surround view monitor, memory drivers seat, power passenger seat, power folding mirrors, vented seats, etc. LSD would polish off this for the better.

I couldn't get my hands on a GT so I picked up a GT-LINE. Absolutely love it! $2k for the sunroof and Bose system was 100% worth it! The styling and technology makes this mid-size sedan a huge value! I traded my 2020 Charger Scat Pack for it. Even trade. Suprised my friends and family but it was time to trade as the value of the Chargers is about to plummet what with dealers still sitting on 2023's.

The fact that the standard GT doesn’t have the fully customizable gauge cluster is a bit of a bummer, but I do like that they offer that premium package to get all the stuff that is in the EX trim. That is something that the N-Line doesn’t offer.

As a 2024 n line owner we have functional scoops and vents 😂 The things that I would trade would be the fully functional paddle shifters. The n-line really works as a downshift and then only up shifts to the gear you started in. And I can't explain how powerful these really are, significantly quicker than my charger was, that even with no traction they hit 60 in 5 seconds. Once rolling the midrange is hellacious and I have vids of me running with 5.0 GTs stock. Both Koreans are amazing vehicles and practical.

@@4522-SC it was updated and available first, and I prefer the looks. My son has a 23 K5 GT-line so I was familiar with them. I also prefer the alcantara seats, gray interior, and thinner steering wheel. My biggest gripe was the lack of a heated steering wheel.

Nah the front doors had the manufacturers tape still over the chrome trim. You can see that at the end of the video around the 20 minute mark the tape was removed and the chrome was exposed.

And I would totally get this over a bmw and the n line for the price can't beat it I would love to own one of these. This car is definitely more comfy and attractive. But for performance, it’s not even close. The Elantra N is a track car right there in performance with a type R. Plus it has the limited slip differential and you can get it in a stick.

Without the GT1 package, I’d take the Sonata N-Line. I think it’s more attractive across the board, inside and out. However, the GT1 package brings features frustratingly unavailable on the Sonata N-Line, which makes it the better choice overall, imo.

Canadian here, I 100% agree. I had my heart set on the newly refreshed K5, only to find out they killed it off here in Canada. And as you said, no Sonata hybrid. Not only that, the Sonata N Line ultimate doesn't have all the features the US version gets. Specifically, no heads up or 360 cameras. And the worst insult of all, both Hyundai and Kia only give Canadians a five year powertrain warranty, where the US gets ten years.
