Also SNC is an international company and Canadian federal contracts are just a small part of their business! Not only that but I’m sure there are other Canadian companies that can take over for federal contracts

Even SNC's threat to move their HQ may have been a bluff to try and get themselves off the hook. If Jody had not been demoted, all would be forgiven. But now it's getting harder and harder to resolve if Trudeau is going to salvage his party. Trudeau pushed too hard just like he did on the floor of the house with elbow-gate.

You have no idea how "government" works right? If we were all privy of the info, we wouldn't have a democracy; it would decentralized and become socialisalist in nature. We elect our representatives to take care of our needs...that is their job. We don't need to know about all the ins and outs of what is going on. If you want to know what is happening, become a reporter, or get into politics and get a seat in government. The masses don't need to know everything that is happening.

Actually it was the prosecutor's decision and Jody said she wouldn't override that because the prosecutor is independent. When they realized that Jody wouldn't interfere, they moved her out and moved Lametti in. And SNC is in the middle of his riding...come on Canada don't let this spin make you dizzy!

I don't agree with many of the former AG's political notions, but I watched her testimony. She was direct, succinct, no ahhs, umms. The Government has no right to pressure the Attorney General to make a decision that’s in the best interest of their party and I don’t believe the jobs of Canadian’s was their only motive.
