It doesn’t matter how many jobs there is, what matters is the company broke the law and should be prosecuted! Also SNC is an international company and Canadian federal contracts are just a small part of their business! Not only that but I’m sure there are other Canadian companies that can take over for federal contracts

Even SNC's threat to move their HQ may have been a bluff to try and get themselves off the hook. If Jody had not been demoted, all would be forgiven. But now it's getting harder and harder to resolve if Trudeau is going to salvage his party. Trudeau pushed too hard just like he did on the floor of the house with elbow-gate.

Hey blondie, how about looking into the eyes of the 14,500 Canadians who lost their jobs in Alberta oil business. Is it because of Trudeau's fear of Carbon emissions and the immediate quest to find greener solutions ?? Then why the cash bailouts to Bombardier who produce carbon emissions producing machines?? Confusing.

You have no idea how "government" works right? If we were all privy of the info, we wouldn't have a democracy; it would decentralized and become socialisalist in nature. We elect our representatives to take care of our needs...that is their job. We don't need to know about all the ins and outs of what is going on. If you want to know what is happening, become a reporter, or get into politics and get a seat in government. The masses don't need to know everything that is happening.

Jennifer O'Connell has a silly little girl voice and sulky looking mouth. And changes the subject/deflects when she's caught by logic. She's a perfect liberal. I don't agree with many of the former AG's political notions, but I watched her testimony. She was direct, succinct, no ahhs, umms. She just spelled it out bluntly and she was entirely believable in her testimony.

As Canadian’s we deserve the facts and the truth! The Government has no right to pressure the Attorney General to make a decision that’s in the best interest of their party and I don’t believe the jobs of Canadian’s was their only motive. There are too many unbuilt pipelines and tens of thousands of Canadians losing jobs and that has not been a priority for Trudeau and his cabinet. Bring JWR back!!!

The problem is, even Wernick doesnʹt understand fundamental sentence structure.

This speaks volumes about politics in Canada. Does anyone else think the scandal itself, never mind the flurry of standing MPs condemning the Liberals, is a stinking red herring? This is called 'positioning for votes' in the next election. Plain and simple. Never mind the fact that our national mainstream media, like the USA's counterparts, has latched onto the issue as a veiled maneuver to influence Canadian voters on the left to move to the right? It smells like everything that's wrong with the political structures of our neighbours to the south and is pure distraction for what is right and true! These are the cohesive commodities lacking in ALL governments. Just saying...
