Funny how at the Huawei arrest case, the Trudeau office keep telling the chinese govt, that they will not interfere, as it is a criminal case, and the court of law is independent from political interference. Meaning they will not call, text, meet up or pressure the AG or the prosecution office to interfere with their decision. Now on this SNC case, which is also a criminal case, the PM and his crews turn 180 degrees, and say meetings and phone calls and text message to the Attorny General are totally ok.

This judge so nailed it. I'm mentally disabled and came to all the same conclusions - got the comments on other channels (that I follow) to prove it. This fake committee is a total fraud - = jurey rigging for sure. On the other hand, Trudeau's surprise at Jody's uncooperative stance is believable - she intervened in that case by her public disapproval statement about Boushie v. Stanley - the scales of justice must remain deaf dumb and blind, but Jody along with our PM sure, were, not. Their negative comments on the exoneration of Mr Stanley who shot and killed Colten Bushie (Indian) by accident is Sedition by our PM and Former AG. They both broke their oaths. Her as a member of the B.A.R. and both as our highest ministers in parliament. So, our poor Priminister has a good reason to be baffled. @@DWinegarden2 What are you talking about, she is refering to Wernicks and Butts's testimony, where they said they want to bring in other law experts to JWR, so she can review the SNC case again, because DPA is a new law and she needs help in understanding it. That's not the media, that's what they said. Now imagine telling the the AG, who is the expert in law, holds one of the highest position in law and establish new laws all the time, they are telling her that she need help in understanding a new law(DPA). That's like telling Messi or Ronaldo they need opinon of another football player to teach they how to play football. It's very insulting. David Huang if she was part of the Liberal team she would have never said anything to the media. They were just talking with her, she didn’t even change her decision. That’s what happens inside a political party, you have extensive discussions while you make your decision and then you keep that confidential and the position you made is what goes public. It’s called cabinet confidentiality! Trudeau is getting handed his ass for sure. But this kind of backstabbing could only happen from someone you trusted implicitly. Clearly, JWR has a secret agenda. Watch and see.

@@DWinegarden2 So PM and his crew wants to pressure the AG into stopping criminal charges and prosecutions on a criminal case to SNC, the AG did not cave in and disagree, then right after this she got demoted, and you expect her to remain slient? If she didn't make this public, the new AG the prime minister appointed could easily overturn the criminal charges and direct the office to give DPA to SNC without anyone giving a care, because no one knows about the scandle if she remained quiet. Now tell me, if no one make this public, the corporation would secretly escape criminal trial and just pay a fine to the government. I think the true arrogance can found in the former attorney general’s inflexibility, anyone thinking that they are the ultimate authority on the law is clearly demonstrating an element of hubris. Refusing to keep an open mind on the issue goes against the protocol that is in place allowing for a decision to be made up to the final trial verdict. If the former attorney general was unaware of that fact then certainly seeking legal rational and clarity from a Supreme Court justice could only help improve her understanding of a complex issue. It looks to me like she tried to Me too the Prime Minister and unfortunately dragged another good minister down with her. By sept. 17 she had only been back in Canada for 5 days from her Australian Vacation and was likely not even over her jet lag, how much due diligence could she have really done, seeking expert legal advice on the issue should have been part of that process, instead it was playing on a Beach in Bali.
