The Slovenia delegation is playing a smart game. Showing an acoustic rendition to show what Raiven is capable of but not the actual one. That way, it can be more of a surprise, plus the staging setup is not leaked so it is hard for competitors to gauge what Slovenia actually has planned yet.

So far, we haven't heard the original song live yet for Raiven so compared to other counties, Slovenia is much more hush hush this year.

I remember her getting so much flack for her vocals in Zazarim and Kaos. She's so much more stable now and confident in her skill after getting some classical training and experience. I love her so much as an artist, she's grown so much.

Yup, every singer should have some classical training for the technical benefit, just as a lot of dancers will be told to do ballet for similar reasons. I'm not familiar with the events you mention (this year is my first time listening to Raiven), but she is most certainly the strongest technical singer in the competition this year - and her technique in this performance is impeccable. The only critique I can make is at 1:26 where her breath support was a little short as she went through her passagio, but it's an incredibly pedantic point and she realised it herself immediately and corrected it straight away. Other than that, the technique was completely flawless. On a personal preference purely, I do wish that starting from 1:28 through to 1:35 would have a stronger resonance with a forte crescendo to give it some extra volume, as in the performance she pulls back when moving through her passagio and I think it would have a better effect if that build up continued through it. I only mention it because she has the skill set and the technique to do it, but curious to see how she performs it on the night. Excited nonetheless.
