2017, I was in Raja Ampat, and it was a mind-blowing experience. Born and raised in Indonesia, lived in Singapore, US and now Germany, also have visited Aussie several times, but still Indonesia is what I call home. I think one of "cure" for depression is to experience nature, and have social interactions, which are very easy to get in Indonesia.

As the biggest archipelago country on earth,, Indonesia has hundred of places similar to Raja Ampat. Sometimes we just can't decide which islands we need to go because we have so many options nearby.... Btw, based on its geography Indonesia can be divided into seven region, they are: - Sumatera (Andalas) - Jawa (Java) - Kalimantan (Borneo) - Sulawesi (Celebes) - Nusa Tenggara (Lesser Sunda Islands) - Maluku (Moluccas) - Papua (New Guinea) My suggestion is you need to go to islands' region like Maluku... Some underrated, unpopular, quiet, serene, yet beautiful places like: - Kei Island - Morotai - Ora Beach - Ngurbloat Beach - Bair Island - Banda Neira ....are waiting for tourists to come. Those places as beautiful (and sometimes even better than overrated places) as Bali, Maldives, and Hawaii... Maluku as a region, not only has beautiful scenery,, but also the region of Maluku is rich in history. Many fortresses, castles, and old buildings can be found here... This region has been known as the spice islands that attract European, Indian, Chinese, Arab to come here to trade since 16th century...

Very Good👍👍and like it, brother Benn .. Hearing Raja Ampat is definitely thinking of Papua, Indonesia. On these islands one of them is Kri Island, a green island surrounded by beautiful blue lagoons. There are many more islands in Raja Ampat : Kabui bay landscape which consists of towering karst cliffs and green vegetation is an amazing beauty. Hundreds of small islands the size of terraced houses seemed to pop out of the sea floor. On one side of the Kabui Bay hill we can see the Buton fishing village that makes houses on one side of the hill that has a slope of about 60 degrees. Diving, snorkeling and carving, a combination of activities you can do while admiring the beautiful nature of Kabui. Surely all Indonesians want to go there, but because it's expensive, it's far away and there's no right time or other problems that prevent them from going there, including me, so no more than 1% of Indonesians have ever been there.
