Hello sir, I'm confused about three concepts in postcolonial studies and I hope you can help me out. What is the difference between postcolonial theory/ postcolonial criticism/ and postcolonial philosophy .. And when we are asked to talk about postcolonial theory, do we speak also about postcolonial literature ? I wonder also if you can make a lecture about postcolonial literary theory. Thanks in advance sir.

I am not sure if there is a difference, as most terms are used interchangeably. Postcolonial theory would be the varied theories used in postcolonial studies and I am not sure what a postcolonial philosophy would be?

@@masoodraja I wonder if you would mind doing a video about literary theories (that of edward said/spivak/ and bhabha).. I found shattered info that confused me really .. and concerning the postcolonial philosophy, I remember I found it once in a book that I don't remember its title

@@anngel2041 It is hard to sum up Postcolonialism into one theory. I recommend one of many books on the subject: the three good books are by Robert Young, Leela Gandhi, and Ania Loomba. Other than that for each theorists you will have to read their works and then form an opinion.

@@sayanisarkar1665 I have a few other lectures on Ngugi where his ideas from the book are explained. I will see if I can do an introductory lecture to the whole book maybe some time in the future.
