Presenting Episode 3 of the Rajasthan roadtrip series. This episode takes through the times and to the unesco world heritage site of the Chittorgarh fort. It was incredible to witness the history of Chittorgarh fort and was equally fascinating to hear the tales of the brave maharajas of the time. Chittorgarh fort history dates back more than 800 years. As you walk the lanes and through the small buildings of this fort, you will realize the pain and sacrifice it went through during the attacks of the mughal emperors in the likes of Akbar and Allauddin Khilji. This is aptly the biggest fort in the rajasthan tourism circle that you will come across dwarfing the other forts which you will see in the coming episodes. We started our day from Udaipur and it was a journey of 110 kms from Udaipur to Chittorgarh fort. The roads were very smooth and mostly a 6 lane highway all through out. Watch more to know how to travel to Chittorgarh from Udaipur. The highway takes you right to the entry of the Chittorgarh fort, one of the hill forts of Rajasthan.
