Very excellent vocal work and musicianship. I feel people have forgotten that a rendition is a new perspective on a song that allows people to experience a new form of musicality from the original track itself. I enjoyed every second of this video and as a musician I appreciate the the sound aswel. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for such an awesome rendition to a great song.

Yes to all of this. It feels very different from the original one - very distant at first and I was a bit "meh" at first. But in a way this fits very well to the sad and "lonely" content. Imo a very intersting artistic approach to the song. And that is in my opinion one of the only valid reasons to do new interpretations. To really add something new to a song.

Wow! Great arrangement and clever harmonisation of the chorus. Really hard to take a well-known song and do something interesting with it but they've done it.

At first I did not like it a lot, it felt too "straightforward", but it turned out to be really interesting. Probably this is one of those songs so popular that they are considered "untouchable", maybe that's the reason for all the dislikes. I think you did a great job anyway!

Yeah yeah the originals are better, because, well, they're the _originals_, but as far as acapellas go, this is pretty awesome. I could jam out to a 'just jams and chorus' version of this. so mainly the bass 'bum bum' and the British 'all the lonely people'. And I think the Wii music ting gives it a kinda lowkey techno feel 👌🏻

For all the people commenting "blasphemous! This is rubbish! I liked the Beatles version better. This sucks. Is this Wii music?" SHUT. UP. Rajaton has been a hard working Finnish A Capella group for 20 years now, and I've had the privilege of singing with these hard working musicians twice. If you can't appreciate how brilliant this version of Eleanor Rigby is, then you need to sit down and shut up. Your petty comments aren't needed.
@smartypants14517 жыл бұрын
J Morgs first of all this comment is very petty by itself and second obviously the real version by the beatles is better because they sang it better and all the instrument harmonization is brilliant but that's just many people's opinion this one is ok but the original is always better
@Jewels13577 жыл бұрын

Musically this is an excellent rendition. However, it loses the feel of the original, which for me is what makes me like the original so much. This is the equivalent of converting a song as somber as mad world into a pop song. Not bad music, just poor direction.
@feeno11886 жыл бұрын
Lenny Taerts The original Mad World by Tears for Fears is typical 80's pop. The Gary Jules version is far somber and depressing
