Mam..It would be better if you would reduce the amount of text in each slide in subsequent presentations..or your could break the info into several slides...It is very difficult for the audience to follow the entire talk

Sir, I realized this problem later on and couldn't have done anything once the video was already shot. But, I will keep this in mind and make the slides accordingly from the next time. Thank you so much for your input.

Let me unequivocally thank Rajivji and his team for accomplished a high level of academic rigor and discipline to the institutional mission of revival of Sanskrit , the language of the Vedas and Gods as we know it. Every single youngster I have seen, heard on KZbin who presents papers under the aegis of this institution comes off as a highly disciplined and respectful scholar. I congratulate young Ishani Dutta for a complex treatment of Pollock's nuances on the Ramayana. I wish Ishani and all her fellow travelers the best of academic insights , delights and achievements .God bless. Carry on with all your vigour...

Pollack may have his own vested interests in portraying Hindu scriptures in bad light and at the same time not uttering a word about the genocides and cruelty perpetrated by the followers of the Abrahamic religions. But we Indians should question ourselves as to why are we encouraging, following and even funding this evil person.

Ishani ji I think you have done a really great job here but a bit of critical advice. Please take this positively! 1. The amount of text has already been mentioned by another viewer, there is far too much and is confusing because either I'm trying to listen to you or trying to match where you are with where it is written on the slide, just very brief bullet points is far better. Maximum 3-4 words per bullet 1-2 word bullets work best I thought I'd listen to you instead and maybe return to your slides later BUT I can't understand what you are saying!!! 2. This is because you are making a presentation as one would in a university in front of academics, Now I don't know who the audience were but towards the end we got to see the struggle they had in understanding you and even paying attention, even on Rajiv's face. I asked myself why I couldn't understand you ~ way too fast ~ too technical ~ reading text as if out of a book ~ no explanation You see if I'm reading a book I can stop and reread, or think, or consult a dictionary etc Here as a lay listener I can't do that. You need to explain, explain, explain! Not read! The explaining goes on in your head first to yourself, you are the audience now explain, then reexplain and do it over and over again until you have yourself come down to the core of what you're trying to get across. Then you make yourself a list of bullet points to remind you of your points. Talk to your audience, don't read to them, explain the problem and your analysis of it. Look, I just heard your talk right so what did I get? Pollock stated that the Ramayana was used as a tool of oppression by Hindus Something about levels planes? You mentioned philology but I don't know what that is, of course I can look it up now on google but in your talk? Something about other western authors That Ramayana has many versions with their own indigenous interpretations Pollock interpreted it to suit his own theory I think your answer to him is not to ignore the feelings and interpretations of Indians That bird and Rama Agastya? Look I , we all want you to do really well, Never ever assume your audience knows, the only safe assumption is that they are ignoramuses and your job is to share your ideas, even if Rajiv M is there he is ignorant right! People pay attention when you talk to them not when you read to them I hope you find this criticism useful
