@Prophet Mufasa I think I understand what they are saying. Rondo has three choices, all of which are good in their unique ways. He can stay with the Lakers for a mid-level exception and play with the GOAT and AD for a chance at a repeat. He can go to the Clippers (likely not even having to move around that much) and make that same MLE but have more opportunities on the team. Although he would not have the same exact likelihood of winning a ring with them, if he does, it would change his Hall of Fame trajectory substantially (so that may be a win in Rondo's eyes). Lastly, he can go to the Hawks and get some bread, but have a slim chance of winning anything. I can see Rondo doing any of the three, though I'd prefer that he choose to run it back with the King.
