The police mentality has undermined the R&AW. We can see the debacles happening around us starting from Covid, 2020, Afghanistan, Iran, Bangladesh, USA Canada. Serious reforms required to reform the agency to a professional agency. Mixing of internal security mindset of IB, police cannot be equated with R&AW. R/S, has described the working of RAW in an exhaustive manner. The life of an official serving in raw ; throws up many challenges to the serving official. The biggest one is his loneliness. He cannot share, his sorrows and happiness with others. It is the highest sacrifice of the serving officials in the RAW !

I understand now why Sir chose you as an interviewer. He just came to fix RAW's image as a country raises questions about Nijjar's killing and thinks RAW could be behind it. Throughout the interview, he emphasized that RAW doesn’t do anything wrong-they don’t kill enemies, and they don’t even harm double agents who betray India; if they die, it’s usually in an accident. Essentially, he just came, presented RAW's stance, and then left. A RAW officer holds great power in his hands-more than you can even imagine.
