This is such a good episode giving you ample knowledge, Dr Arvind is one of the best if not THE BEST lung surgeon in India. The sad part is that the episode not have enough views. Such is the case with pollution in India. People know about it but are not taking action on it and waiting for government to take action.

I belong to the same profession. I cent percent agree with Dr. Arvind. Very useful information for everyone. In regard to HBOT, just remember one thing, “Too much of anything is toxic, be it oxygen. We need only 21% O2 (room air) unless otherwise it is indicated by your doctor for therapeutic purposes“. Also, Pulmonary Rehab therapies/exercises also play vital role in lung maintenance.

Pollution is a highly serious issue and as an general physician doctor i already knew about the seriousness of this issue but government should take action on this and people should take action on their behalf. You're doing an amazing job in the podcasting space and bringing a fresh perspective to it. It would be great if you could invite founders and key members of the management bodies who took heavy decisions, started from scratch, and built companies with great value. Hearing about their initial struggles, the challenges they faced, the strategies they implemented, and their ultimate success would be truly inspiring. Especially those brands that made a strong comeback after years of setbacks, like Tata Motors, Royal Enfield, Old Spice, Onida, Parle Agro, Boat, Mahindra, Orient Electric, Polycab, Micromax, Intex, Asian Paints, Tanishq, Ola, Ather Energy, Hero MotoCorp, etc. Their stories of resilience, planning, and actions would be super motivating for your audience!

Question Asked - Which are best purifiers? 1. Always prefer reputed brands like Coway, Sharp, Cuckoo, Blueair, Diakin etc, Local brands likely to have higher noise and low quality filters 2. Minimum Hepa H12 or H13 should be there, more branded filters will have that. Its good to choose companies which price replacement filter at cheaper price, currently check Cuckoo (Korean Brand) giving very large filter with one extra filter complementary, Diakin offering 3 filters complementary but Hepa filter is smaller 3. Always see that filter is large so that area covered is large 4. Its better to buy AQI monitor separately (Check Temptop brand, cheaper if you can get from US). Always check CO2 levels which is must. Indoor airpurifier will never show you CO2. You will notice than AQI may be 8 but CO2 is 3000 which is no less harmful because there is no fresh air 5. The best way to clean indoor air in home and office is to throw clean air from outside which is filter through activated carbon filter and Hepa 12 filter. Check solutions from Breathe Easy, Ubreathe, Astberg, Yoga Clean etc to understand the concept. Few of these companies may ask for unreasonable money but if you research properly - 1,000 sq ft can be cleaned at a budget of 50-75k. This will be the best solution to maintain PM2.5 as well as CO2

@RajShamani - We maintain single digit AQI, 3 digit CO2 and very low TVOC and other pollutants through usage of Hepa filter, push of fresh filtered air from outside and large usage of indoor plants. This is possible with spend of few lacs. People who can afford it must use it at home and office. For rest we should do whatever we can but that would definitely require govt intervention.
