I prefer using PLC link to drive VFD from PLC in my projects instead of separate MODRD and MODWR instructions. Using separate instructions you have to initiate separate communications thru the channel each time when you need to start, stop, change frequency or set a parameter. But your video is great! Keep so on….!

@@thegeterrdone I prefer M1353/M1356=OFF. This mode is available only when all VFD register addresses are consequent (like in Delta VFD).

You can control torque via 0-10VDC and encoder feedback by reading pulses in the PLC via High speed counter.

You should use MODRD for MODBUS Read to read the freq. Kindly check the correct modbus register for the VFD in the VFD manual-
