Polar satellites don't have a 24 hours viewing window over any geographical region... Wont that be a problem in case of live operations?

Not necessarily, as you always have some time window for a particular location. That much will be very efficient.

@Anuj yes bro.. As per The Hindu newspaper report, India need a total of four such satellites to the address issue. Let's hope that ISRO and DRDO take such a beautiful step to keep our country safe 🙂

I think that PSLV should be spun off to a private consortium ASAP, which can then do launches directly for the military, to minimize ISRO's involvement in those launches. We want to maximize ISRO's global reputation for peaceful non-controversial use of space, without tainting it with any controversies associated with military pursuits. We can instead have the private launch consortium directly serve the needs of the Indian Air Force or DRDO.
