I don't think we could do anything More than keeping Memories of my Beloved Begum Akhtar Alive, so thank you Rajya Sabha. Her pictures, her singing, her videos and I can go on Must be Preserved and shared with us who could not approach her then but luckily now we can thru WEB etc...zamana badal gaya hai aur unki yaad taaza rakhne ke bhagwan ne madhyam bhi bana diye hain. Beloved Begum Akhtar's memory must be etched in History and in every form of record keeping, be it CD, DVD, Radio-TV Programmes, Publishing her Live programms, eBooks, thru Publications (and the List goes on...) Bharat ke sangeet ki duniya ka ek chamakta sitara, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan Begum Akhtar, the One and Only of her kind. She was really a Gift of God and was Blessed with a unique style of singing born with very distinct Voice, Inimitable Begum Akhtar. She will never be Forgotten she remained here because she said she belonged here and she received tremendous love and support from people here. May her soul rest in peace.
