Thanks dude, for keeping it real. RJ might have a lot of money, but it is not luck, and certainly not skill 'investing'. But he took risks, respect him for that, but unfortunately 99.99% of people who also took risk are nameless or poor. I agree, insider trading seems to be his real power; his timings are highly questionable. Never has he invested and the shares became half the value (unless company collapsed etc). Odd

Yes, he had pocket money of 5000-10000 Rs in 1982 and his father said if you work as CA you would get thousands of Rs so till then take this money. At that time 30000 Rs was worth around 1-2 crore Rs now. I thus think his father gave him 10-25 lakhs per month. His initial investment came from his wife family of 20 lakh Rs. In 1980s 20 lakh Rs would be anywhere Frome 5cr to 50 crore. And he used that capital on leverage and tripled the money in 3-5 months. Since beginning his investment has been in thousands qty of shares and leveraged. His firm Rare enterprise has his wife included as beneficiary so I also think his wife family is also super rich. Also as his wife brother or uncle game him 20 lakh Rs then make it certain they were super rich then and now become Ulta ultra rich.. from top 0.1% to top 0.001% rich.

One more important question. How most of the stocks hold by RJ do not have price band. Delta Corp does not have a price band and had moved above 10%. Zee entertainment had moved 37% in a day. How SEBI is not limit pricing limit for RJ stocks. There must be 5% price limit band for RJ stocks.
