Hey guys! Here's my detailed review of Rakk Gears Pirah Plus, the upgraded version of the ever-famous, Rakk Pirah Wireless Keyboard. Absolutely a banger at its price point considering what it has to offer. A GMK67 Rebrand? Nah, I'd say a GMK67 Killer.

Nice video! Do you know if the VIA compatibility will allow Mod-tap or double-tap QMK codes? I was disappointed to find that my Cidoo V75 Pro lacks these capabilities, despite being VIA compatible. It appears that some less expensive wireless VIA keyboards lack full QMK, which is pretty surprising to the community. We all used to think VIA = full QMK, but now we have to ask, and sometimes the answer is vague.

This I guess has to be on paper or on every detail of each boards these days that claim to have VIA Compatibility.

@@pindotkalikotph I've noticed that most wired VIA keyboards adertise QMK/VIA, while many tri-mode/wireless boards advertise only VIA. VIA was built for QMK and uses QMK commands, but it appears that wireless boards are only adopting some of those commands. This is why I'm asking, because we have no way of knowing how much programmability these wireless VIA keyboards actually have until we get out hands on them.

I did some reading, and it VIA version 3's documentation does seem to imply that anyone can create a custom VIA keymap & ship it, but there's also a certain "basic VIA" that any officially supported board will have. This unfortunately doesn't include TapDance, which is what I'm assuming "double taps" is referring to, but it does include ModTap. I don’t know about the V75, but I looked for it on the "supported" section of the VIA website and couldn't find it under Cidoo or Finalkey. Sometimes boards are listed under different names though, like the Zoom TKL being listed as "Zoom 87," which I assume is closer to its original Chinese name? Also for some reason, brands often aren't listed… not sure if that's the brands' or VIA's fault, but it makes finding boards on the list really hard

@@jammies701 Thank you for checking. It's a new mystery. Yes, I've found that the VIA firmwares on the 'supported' page are built with full QMK. Epomaker support (Cidoo's vendor) confirmed that the V75 is not QMK compatible, and will not be updated. Oh well.

Yep, it’s using a different kind of pcb. It amazed me that it can also be changed to an ISO layout by reseating the hotswap sockets. Haha.

i am sorry but that shit oesnt look the same on the website and you just put a gmk67 in the carp keyboard's box
