i took the plunge, to become an apprentice to a martial arts master in kanazawa, back when i just got out of college. i had already had a decade of martial arts, but it was a whole new world. i can attest to every word this man says, especially in the "translating for sensei" part (and in the not understanding the culture enough just yet")😂😂😂

Please don't believe everything what the Rakugo-ka told. Because, to make people laugh and feel happy is their job. Almost all cases in Japan, students need to respect their teachers but not need to show their obedience at all.
