Thanks for the video and commentary; you just saved me about $27.98 and some frustration. You're right, the sound quality is terrible and the dash cam quality isn't even worth it. Seriously, my cell phone records better video and sound!

+Derrick C. Thank you for commenting and I'm glad to have helped you save the $28 money I spent on 2 of them. Check out the Anart "SSC-20 sports camera" on ebay (don't use the quotes) (under $50) - that is the recorder I used for the good part of the video. It does not come with a car charger or a suction cup mount ... those are extra ... but you can also use it for sports since it is like a gopro only much less expensive. Note: it does not start to automatically record when power is applied. At least the suction cup was decent quality from my purchase, I used it on the SSC-20.
