@@ericbreeds6950 Hi eric glad you're all good! Yes I've always been a modeller at heart, when I was younger I used to buy an airfix plane ✈ kit build them and attach them to my bedroom ceiling hanging on bits of cotton great days, Can't wait to get started on the train 🚉 layout. Cheers 🍻

The quick silver does look nice but my favourite is the ultra violet, it reminds me of the 1970's. The same sort of colour as a Yamaha FS1e. Lots of interesting Hornby stuff, looking forward to seeing it all come together, especially the pub!. I had a blue grifter in 1979, a mk2 I think?
@paulmartin49718 ай бұрын
Hi Jerry thanks for viewing, yes I had a fs1e or a "Fizzy" back in 81 it was yellow they are worth a fortune now!! Glad you like the uv it's a April 72 my new favourite is going to be the quick silver lol 😂My blue mk1 Grifter is a 79, glad you like the Hornby items, I spose the channel is a lot about the items from the 70's lol 😂 New project coming up next week have a great weekend cheers 🍻

Have a good weekend as well. The 1970's was a great time to be a kid. The toys.......Scalextric, Hornby, Corgi, Dinky, Action man. The Raleigh cycle centres. Then skateboards, Star wars etc! Your KZbin videos bring back some nice memories.

@@jerrysmith2133 why thank you very much kind sir, will try and dream up more 70's nostalgia lol. I had some great games in the 70's, Crossfire, rebound, strika, ker plunk, mousetrap, buckaroo, etc etc great times Jerry cheers 🥂 mate

Great content Paul. It will be nice to see the silver chopper built up. For those who want to build a train set what would be the build cost ?. That would be interesting to know. Have a nice Easter.. where was norman in this video, I didn't see him 😮

Really like the fizzy lemon looks like new .would love a project with a chopper bike but wouldn't no where to start to look for one
@paulmartin49717 ай бұрын
Hi eric have a look on ebay, there are loads on there and parts etc, it all depends mainly on your skillset and the look you want, The first chopper I bought was complete but rough so I stripped it down done all the necessary repairs and cleaning and reassembled, it depends what your looking for, you could buy a frame and gradually buy the bits you need and build it up like that waiting for the right pieces to come along at the right price but some bits like the gear shifter for instance are very expensive, I tend to buy the base and work from that, The whole thing really depends on your skills set and how much money you've got to spend and what result your looking for I'm probably going to be selling that rough fizzy lemon I've got soon but all my bikes are for sale at the right price but it all depends on the individual and how deep your pockets are lol 😂 hope this helps eric, no video this week due to Easter but I've got an exciting new project to share with you soon, have a great Easter weekend cheers 🍻
@ericbreeds69507 ай бұрын
Thanks for the reply Paul very useful I'm going to keep an eye out and see what comes along fancy a mk2 like I had when I was a kid I have always rebuilt bike from complete strip down or from bare frame just never a chopper
