Your setup looks phenomenal and so is your skill-level. Really impressive. After watching a lot of your content I really doubt, if I really need a Clubsport DD, or if I just should upgrade to a CSL DD 8nm. Coming from my CSL Elite with Thrustmaster T-LCM-Pedals I really want to feel the difference to DirectDrive, which would be the next logical step. Great content.

It's a fantastic wheel and a great entry into the world of DirectDrive. However, I recently ordered the DD+, which is not only stronger than the CSL DD but also expected to outperform the DD1 and DD2. If you're happy with 8NM and looking for a significant upgrade from the CSL Elite, the CSL DD is a solid choice. But if you're aiming for the top-tier experience, then the DD+ could be the way to go. Your set-up alone is amazing, but ur driving?... Phenomenal, ur skills are extremely well honed man. We had a cpl comment convos in the past so I've complimented u before, but u persist to keep me intrigued and I love that energy I feel when i observe and analyze ur driving style/ skills. I am a beginner sim racer/ drifter. Had to mention the drifting aspect cause ive hardly been racing lol, last cpl weeks i've been fixated on FH5 tho I play DR 2.0 as well and the physics certainly trumps Forza, tho FH is not substandard by any means and I absolutely love drifting in that game. It was difficult to learn and I completed my first triple-curve transition successfully without spinning out or losing my drift last week, and ever since I have been even more passionate about learning the art. The reason I mention this is cause watching ur rallying vids makes me wanna put Forza down ( rather heavily) and jump back into the dirt and gravel, truly inspiring. That beginning hairpin? Ur timing has to be absolutely impeccable in order to execute that. I love that u do not hesitate or doubt urself for a second or nervously brake tap in anticipation, high or even moderate rate of speed and ur sliding straight into it effectively with muscle memory and confidence, powerful stuff as far as this niche goes man. I have a rookie budget set-up, Thrustmaster TMX wheel With only the plastic 2-pedal set, no clutch. No official handbrake either, I mapped it to the right paddle shifter cause i mostly drive automatic, until I can afford a TH8A anyways. My next step is T3PA 3-pedal set, I"m honestly fairly efficent with what I have tho and the Thrustmaster TMX is a very good (budget) wheel, seriously once I got my settings dialed in I fell in love with it. The FFB is way better than I thought it would be and the 11-inch diameter of wheel is perfect, assumed it would be too small for my tastes but I enjoy it thoroughly. This segment is leading to a question lol, so here it is: what wheel ( besides the one u own, doubt I can afford it lol) would u recommend I upgrade to that is not in a crazy price range like $1,000? I love the one I have of course but it is my 1st one and i know intellectually there are better things on the Horizon, emotionally I am attached to it cause I experienced the best, most immersive gameplay experiemce of my life on it for the 1st time and learned a lot with it. Just curious if u have a wheel in mind. Btw I only have an Xbox One S rn unfortunately.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your compliment on the setup. Regarding the CSL DD, I personally love it and haven’t experienced any issues with mine. I'm aware of the concerns about Fanatec's delivery times and some quality issues. If you're not in a hurry, their products are still a good choice, but it's true that there have been delays recently. As for the CSL DD, it seems like only a specific batch had problems. Generally, Fanatec is known for quality, and they do offer a warranty to cover any defects. I hope they resolve these issues soon!🤞

Incredible footage, especially since wrc doesn't support triple screen natively. May I ask about your FFB settings? Everytime I drive on tarmac and using the handbrake my wheel snaps back so strong that almost no drifting is possible. But if I set self aligne torque lower, theres almost no feeling on gravel/snow etc

I really hope Codemasters give it proper triple screen support soon 🤞 I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings with soft-lock on 😊 I only adjust the ffb depending on the car/track. I usually land on 60 to 80% ffb. Hope that helps 🙌

what bugs me the most is that when you go sideways into a hairpin f.e. i usually get the car more sideways using the brake pedal, using the front wheels as a lever on the car. it doesnt even have any effect.
