OMG such an cool ride and what a role model you son has. I just finished watching the two build parts where you converted from stock to adventure...... Insanely inspiring videos. I too wanna build a custom adventurer bike. Will definitely be a project for me in the future 🤘

Yep, Ram style folding mirrors work well, I think there's a newer product too. Much more extensive testing and reviews to follow...

Nice! Looking forward to the 5 weight fork oil, and maybe a more extensive venue than the bicycle trail. I have seen folding mirrors on some of your other dirt bikes. Are those available for the CB500X?

The CB500X is my first motorbike, and I didn’t even have a chance to leave the pavement yet. So please bear with me... It seems that the RallyRaid suspension brings some ability to go faster, but it isn’t *required* to drive over such a trail. So I shouldn’t be afraid to try such things with my stock CB500X... Would you agree with that? Thanks!

what GoPro do you have? do you have some mod on it? external mic? sound is good, i can hear you talking + the bike itself :)

+Yakuza “Marcin” Hero 3+...no mic in this video, the bike is quiet. Now I run an Edutige mic with the GoPro. Works Good!

Wow, just looked it up on google maps and it looks like a lot of historical town and village names..blue tent, rough and ready!!. Looks remote and a great place to ride around..
@blancolirio9 жыл бұрын
Michael Bell Oh man... the names around here are hilarious from the Gold Rush days...like kids naming rock bands today... we have..."Red Dog", "Camel's Hump", "You Bet", "Jackass Flats", "Timbucktoo", "Humbug", and on and on...great riding plus a good sanctioned trail system too. Come on by, we'll show you around.

I have a CB500X and I love it.. But I want to make it a road warrior not an off road beast. I would like a mod for a long distance riding set up with hard cases.. I rarely take it off road.. But I found the video very entertaining. good job
@scotwilson41699 жыл бұрын
Well my suggestions would be any range of side panniers, if you want really small and compact, not adding very much width then the Givi E21's would be ideal, if you wanted larger cases maybe Givi v35's? Also a topbox for more storage *obviously you'd need the appropriate frames and racks to go on your bike for these* Then a taller screen, maybe with an extension like the one in the video Handguards to keep the wind off your hands, bigger ones do a better job A different seat? There are a few companies that make comfort seats for motorcycles, Corbin, Sergeant Seats.... Can't think of any more Heated grips Throttle lock - this is a basic friction device that holds your throttle in one position so you can relax your hands, and yes it's easy to disengage. You can't get very complicated with this or just search for "Go-Cruise motorcycle throttle lock" Then you could think about handlebar risers, maybe put you a bit more upright Then lower footpegs? Helps increase leg angle making it more comfortable Ok so that's all the main things I can think about, other things would be; Scotoiler chain oiler Crashbars Rear hugger Front mudguard extension Centre stand Upgraded tyres from stock (Pilot road 3's?) Power socket Sat Nav? Could wire power into the bike Radiator guard (look at the price of a replacement radiator if it's hit by a stone)

Thanks. Your add on options will all be considered. Plus I was also looking at upgrading lighting also

+Angel Rodriguez Yes this would make a GREAT touring road bike...I would HIGHLY recommend a Rally Raid Stage 1b suspension kit. Keeps the bike the same stock height and COMPLETELY improves the ride, removes any 'unsettling' tendencies of the stock suspension, and makes your suspension very 'tuneable'. I would like to take on this project and video the process...
@AimlessMoto9 жыл бұрын
I think you have me sold on finding a used CB500X for my next bike and doing this conversion!!! Rally Raid seems to be out of the stage 3 kits due to 19" wheel sourcing... no biggie, I can wait. Do you have a full list of all the mods? Did you just get 1 of everything on the list for the CB500X? Shoot me an e-mail! aimlessmoto@gmail.com Thanks man!
@blancolirio9 жыл бұрын
AimlessMoto Check my 'unboxing' video...I go over what I've already done to the bike before the stage 3 conversion, and break it down by mfg. and what I consider 'essential' vs. cosmetic...no other mods have been added since the stage 3 conversion. Enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ7SqJ2XrM2lkMk

I think your videos is awesome and your great .... just a point of information Ive seen the man pull bikers and site them for having the kid in front of the rider ... also even though I know the kid was 100 percent safe and that you were ridding safely no goggles is another hit ...the world has become a screwed up place with SJWs screwing up every dam thing with government interference you seem like a dad of epic proportions and you get all respect from me

+Johnny Rabuse Thanks! yea, I worry about that too and minimize my exposure to the 'man'. Pete's got his own bike now. Oset 12.5.
