Mark Cuban has been a great add to the growing Harris-Walz blue wall to the presidency. His interviews have provided candid analysis to cut through some of the Trump BS that some have just accepted and repeated without giving much thought to. Even as rich as he is, Cuban always comes across as a real person who is direct and practical and constructive in his efforts. Okay, I'll accept your challenge to list a few of her attributes and proposed policies that I favor, as well as a few of her accomplishments. (Sorry in advance for long post, but you asked!) First, why do I support Kamala? I support her economic policies, which favor the working class over the wealthy, and small business over huge corporations. (Economists agree that Trump's proposed tariffs would only serve to increase inflation, thus further straining American families!) I favor her support of America's allies, and not catering to our adversaries. I support her sense of fairness and impartiality. I support her opportunistic vision for America's future. I support her concerns and actions towards sustainability and climate change, rather than dismissing as a hoax. I support her stance on union labor. I support her common sense proposals on immigration (please, spare me the "border czar" lies, no such title exists. She had no more control than any prior VP, the DHS controls the border!) and her support of bipartisan legislation to actually strengthen controls at the border, and focus towards solutions (rather than an executive order to send military to lock up migrants in "concentration camps.") I'm grateful that she will support our personal freedoms, including a woman's right to choose. I support the integrity and dignity she will bring to the office. I support a candidate who chooses calm over chaos. I support a candidate who acts and behaves like a mature adult, not a petulant child. I prefer a candidate who is not a convicted felon. And I support a candidate who wants to be America's President, not our dictator, on day one.💙🇺🇸 As the vice presidency is mostly a supportive role, the second-in-command is not in a position to create unique policies or initiate legislation, so it's difficult to list solo accomplishments. However, Harris took a very active role in the administration. She accepted the opportunity to take the lead on several critical issues while Biden focused his efforts elsewhere, including: As a champion of reproductive rights, Harris met with lawmakers from over 18 states to discuss the issue, and spoke throughout the country on her "Fight for Reproductive Freedoms" tour. She also toured a Planned Parenthood facility, which no prior president or VP had ever done. While she was never a border czar (in reality, a non-existent title), her Central America Forward initiative yielded over $4.2 billion in private sector commitments to support local job creation and other measures to slow the flow of mass migration. She also led the administration's efforts towards voting rights protections in her pursuit of the Freedom to Vote Act. In her role as President of the Senate, Harris cast a record 33 tiebreaking votes (more than any other VP in history), including votes on critical measures such as the 2021 Budget Resolution, the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act. Lastly, a few of the joint accomplishments of the Biden-Harris administration, off the top of my head: America's recovery from the pandemic and the global economic crisis that ensued, infrastructure bill, expanding medical coverage, lowered prescription prices, inflation reduction act, Pact act, Chips and Science act, proactive stance on climate crisis, strong markets, solid GDP, record job growth, reduced unemployment...
