Wonderful. Ever since I first listened to his 'Solo Concert' albumn back in the 1980's I have admired and enjoyed Ralph's guitar playing. My friend Peppino D'Agostino recently told me that he has played with Ralph Towner, and what a pleasure that must've been.

It was built for Ralph by the Australian luthier Jim Redgate in 2010 - one of his celebrated double-top models. They truly are extraordinary - I was fortunate enough to play my teacher's one a few times. He described it as 'a cannon', and that was pretty accurate!
