An outstanding work- incredible that it wasn't recorded before recently. RVW's early works, now being rediscovered, sound little like the great composer we know, but are outstanding in their own right, and would make the reputation in themselves of a lesser composer.

Pas de débauches constantes de notes mais déjà l'amorce d'une façon d'écrire de la musique un peu proche du quatuor à cordes et , qui , peut être en partie avec cela la nécessité de rendre plus signifiant et moins optique brillant le style chargé de son temps s'est fait en R.V.Williams comme une nécessité à rechercher dans les tentatives présentes et futures qui aboutissent pour nourrir et répondre à cette attente de l'amateur musical qui se satisfait si bien de ces finesses comme un dialogue d'âme à âme.
