Ram 1500 Ecodiesel Eibach Level Kit Install

this is installed on a 2016 ram ecodiesel should be similar to a ram 1500 with the hemi engine.

Thanks for the video. doing an air delete on my rebel and picked this kit up. Pissed that eibach pretty much included no hardware, now i gotta go to the junkyard and rip apart some struts 🙄 lol

Would have liked to have seen you disassemble the coil over assembly. Did you need the spring compressor when you took the old one apart?

Yes you should have a spring compressor on for safety

You can use a wall and tire if you don't have access to a compressor. Not the safest way, I know. But it's not that dangerous. You set one end of the strut on the ground against the wall, you have your impact on the top nut, and the tire in front of that. Run the impact slowly, until the mount is almost free keep the tire close, when its time the spring will let go and you'll hit the tire with minimal shock.

How did you get the lower coil spring perch off?

You just give it a couple taps with a hammer and it comes off pretty easily

How are you liking it? Trying to decide between the adjustable struts or Moto-Fab spacers

So far they have been great. Comfortable ride and no weird noises. I've heard the spacers can be an issue overtime by making noises

@@austengigandet2870 it’s still a little high in my opinion. I actually recommend going with the second ring from the top I think that would give the most level look.

You always torque suspension components while in the air

@@georgeparker555 even in your garage or whatnot you torque then while it is off the ground WHEELS are the only thing you torque once on the ground...

@@trdshortbus8009 that is false do some research. Suspension should be torqued when the vehicle is on the ground this way there is no premature wear on any bushings
