For the rear filter use a 5/16 inner diameter tube and drain right into a bucket. For the rest of the filter I use a gallon sized ziploc bag to catch the cap/filter and residual fuel.

On that top filter, I took a two foot piece of 1/2" pvc, slide it over that short drain tube into a coffee can and turned the yellow drain cap. Worked great, no diesel drip problem.

I have watched a number of these videos including yours that don’t show how difficult it is to open these canisters.

Yea your right, personally I just like to show the steps it takes to not make it a super long video. But since its plastic and fuel, they can get a little tight. Usually a longer ratchet does the trick for me though. Hopefully my video helped somewhat, Good Luck!
