Engine sizes mate we have the 6.4L Hemi and there is a 6.7L cummins also larger GVM/GCM and alittle in the size of the vehicle its self.

@@GrabLifeByTheGourlays Here in the US it's about $7k to go from the 1500 ($37k) to the 2500 ($44k) and another $2k to go to a 3500 SRW ($46k). The big advantage of the 2500/3500 is the solid axle front suspension and the additional strength built into everything. Plus lifting and/or adding lockers to the AAM axles in the 2500/3500 is much easier and cheaper. The big issue with the 2500 (10,000 lb GVWR) is lack of payload when you opt for the diesel. The Cummins is over 1,000 lbs without the transmission or transfer case. I ran a 2011 MY 2500 diesel for almost 12 years and was running close to max. payload every time that I hitched a trailer (trailer weight ranges from 10k to 14k on conventional and about 16k gooseneck). I finally gave up and ordered a F450 so that I can run closer to the 26k lb max rating on my gooseneck. If you are going diesel the 3500 SRW (11,500 lb GVWR) is well worth the extra cost. If towing heavy very often it is worth going with a DRW truck.
