Thanks for the rundown. Interested to know whether can operate both Westinghouse induction cooktops together with the enerdrive 3000w inverter? Can run by other AC loads too same time? Eg coffee machine, ice maker?
@roamin_in_a_ramАй бұрын
@@richardschotte9892 yeah one is 1000watt and the other is 1400watt. Have had them both running at the same. I have had coffee machine, 1x induction, and waffle maker running all at the same time.

I do like that build a lot, nice. I use the Shocker Hitch too, it works so well. Haven’t done a canopy yet, I’m torn, I like her looking like a Ute but nothing beats the canopies practicality. What to do ?
@roamin_in_a_ram3 ай бұрын
@@TheTripleDubya thanks mate 🤙 Shocker hitch is mint 👌 definitely best on the market! Yeah canopy makes it a lot more practical. What to do ? Go see Mitch at Concept Canopies hahaha 🤣
@glennbuckland68163 ай бұрын
@@roamin_in_a_ram why do you rate shocker hitch better than say the geny? geny seems to take movement up and down, whereas the shocker seems to mainly work on the down force. how does the bag fair against rockls etc as doesnt seem protected. im looking atm as to what to get
@roamin_in_a_ram3 ай бұрын
@@glennbuckland6816 well I had 2 of them brake over 16months of travelling. They only had up woods movement and ended up with side ways movement aswell. (Second one I got under warranty) The shocker has up and down movement it’s all in the air pressure which I love you can adjust very easily for more movement or less or if you change trailers. I know lots of ppl that have been running shockers for yrs no issues. Yeah haven’t heard of any bag issues however yes I thought that and am going to add a piece of rubber to protect just like a mud flap

Absolutely love this rig. How’s the ride of a 3500 compared to the 2500
@roamin_in_a_ram3 ай бұрын
@@robertgrayson3394 thanks mate!! Yeah I reckon the 3500 ride is a lot nicer the 2500 in our application with heavy weights
@robertgrayson33943 ай бұрын
@@roamin_in_a_ram Thanks. How do these bigger rigs go off-road in terms of width and wheel articulation and ramp over hang ups? Probably biggest thing holding me back at moment is width as I do a lot of tight tracks and am worried I will trash it. I use Rhino Hides on my 200 series which works well. I assume a good quality PPF would help and maybe some magnetic film protection? Ramp over also concerns me slightly but I assume 35” tyres and 3” left addresses that largely? Lastly, is the rear wheel travel on the 3500 limiting and does it get hung up on the spring packs like a 70 series Toyota.
@roamin_in_a_ram3 ай бұрын
@@robertgrayson3394 personally I have never had a problem. Heaps of 2500’s and 3500’s have done the OTT for example. It all comes down to the driver. Yeah I have PPF all over mine. Depends on what you want to do I reckon touring (large weights,canopy,boat etc) 3” 35’s and if you want to do more hectic wheeling I would say 4” 37’s
