Question what color is the Amsoil hybrid organic acid technology coolant and does it meet the mopar spec? I asked my Amsoil dealer but he isn't getting back with me it's a Ram Cummins 2017 with 64,000 miles on it original coolant.

The only difference between changing the coolant in a gas powered truck vs a diesel truck is the emissions on the diesel. If you’re not careful you can get an air pocket in the NRS cooler and crack it internally allowing coolant into combustion side of the system. It will act like a blown head gasket. The proper way to put the coolant back in is under a vacuum. If you have deleted your truck there’s no problem, it’s like changing the coolant in any other gas powered vehicle.

94k on my 2017. have not changed it yet. water pump was changed around 20-30k. def need to change coolant at some point soon.

Hello, for my 2011 ram 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins. Can I use peak final charge coolant?

Final charge is OAT coolant. From factory my 2011 says to use HOAT but it looks like the rams after 2013 are using just OAT. So I’m wondering if I would have any issues using the OAT Final charge. What coolant do you use on this ram?

Improper coolant/water dilution ratio results in poor heat transfer and poor freeze protection. Seems like someone added straight coolant or a wrong ratio and used non-distilled water. A “more is better” way of thinking is not needed with antifreeze/coolant.

It came from factory perfectly balanced. It just goes bad with time and use, just like motor oil.

Congratulations on your purchase! That's an awesome truck. For the first oil change, 4k miles, afterwards 7k miles with full synthetic oil. Are you using truck for hotshot?

Mopar coolant is overpriced overhyped garbage. Fkushing it out and going Prestone is the best way.
