It was hauntingly beautiful that while he was answering the man struggling with the death of his son that a baby began to cry in audience. It was like the Cosmos reassuring him that his son has taken a new birth.

And then ram dass made those noises and the baby stopped crying 🤍

What an absolutely wonderful message from Ram Dass. thank you so much. The words about being connected to my son aside from form is enough to keep me strong through physical separation. I imagine him also sensing this as I do, simultaneously, together forever.

Amazing, when a dear friend of mine lost her Son suddenly, this was what I thought of. Ans its The only thing that could justly communicate these concepts speak of in Rum Dam's letter. I would ruin the ideas if i tried to express them I wish I had his tone and verbal expression. Thank you RAM D. Namaste .

So sad to hear the first part of this and Ram Dass' approach to eating animals. He puts, as do most humans, humans at the centre of the conversation and discussion and NEVER the animals. The discussion around what it must feel like for an animal to be contained, mutilated and eventually sent to their death is never approached. I love Ram Dass and have so much respect for him, but I've turned it off here as this approach is lacking in integrity and thoughtfulness and shows the usual human centredness of all experience.

And you vegans need to work on your superiority complex. Its such an ego trip for you guys. "Look at me. I dont eat animals. Im such a nice person better than those evil meat eaters. You pretend even to yourself that you care so much about animals, because secretly this makes you a supperior to others. Its just part of your ego trip where you are stuck in arrogance and pride. Let it go. Your immune system is killing bacteria every second. Bacterias are living beings, so basically you are what you hate! Every living thing no matter how big or small kills other living beings to live. Only some humans are pretending they are holier than holy. There are also meat eating plants. You vegans are strange cult.

I'm a vegan as well, but I do understand what he is saying. Just because he chooses what he chooses doesn't change how I decide to live my life.. if you have listened to a lot of Ram Das, he shares the story of his guru asking him.. "don't you see how it is all so perfect?" And Ram Das saying... what do you mean? What about the haulocaust.. the wars... the illnesses.. the animals.. the pollution.. and Maharaji saying that it is all perfect .. and that there is no mistake? I know it is hard.. but like he said in this video, our human personalities have a strong hold on attachments. So in life.. do the best you can.. and just love everyone. I for one.. will always cherish and love animals to the fullest. But I will not condemn others for making their own choice. Namaste my friend.
