These shows are actually 2 shows in one, “ram dads here and now” and “ragu before and over there”. 😮

I always get caught by Ragu's prolonged intros. I shouldn't be so attached to hearing Ram Dass where I want when I want.
@Dwoodman5963 жыл бұрын
Same. Once I started to understand his actual relationship to Ram Dass though, you start to understand where he is coming from. Either way is a teaching. I do know what you mean though, sort of a gatekeep type vibe. That's fine he's doing a great service

I had a life before ram dass where I would be constantly be like the woman in the bus guessing what someone is thinking about me. And a life since discovering ramdass where not only am I able to live in love more and more, but increasingly also able to be the space which doesn't really want anything from someone. So when our eyes meet, and I can be just love without conditions, I see all their paranoia settle and the smile come up. And I see this happen more and more. I have tried to life the life of hard work and controlled my desires so that I don't have to take debt, but then this man popped up and gave me the debt of love. One that I keep repaying by laying the same debt on other people and the wonderful part is it never seems to be done. What a human being. And thank you to Raghu and everyone else who help distribute these teachings. Love you all. May we all be kind to each other.

I uhm I uhhhh have an obsession with maharaji and ram dass and I can’t deny it or push it away anymore. I am always drawn back and I remember when I first felt my own transcendent nature, my heart was blasted open and I felt the deepest feeling. I’m not sure what it was. I was stuck laying in my bed for weeks crying all day and night, and at the deepest point I remember getting recommended the Hanuman chalisa on KZbin, I had no idea what language it was or what it said, but it brought me the most comfort and love that I had ever experienced. After I felt that much pain in my heart after a while it got too much and my heart shut closed, which was also very painful. I was reading the Gita which first led me to realizing my hearts true nature, but I ended up throwing it into the top off my closet almost because the truth was too painful. I still long to feel that openness again, even though it was the most suffering I have ever known , yet also the deepest love. It’s strange the thing I long for the most is the thing I don’t want to face the most.

The great way is not difficult to those who have no preferences. It’s a natural process. Sometimes your heart closes so that you can learn how to be juman from the bottom up, you know? Cultivating the root chakra deeply, up to the sacrum, solar plexus.. wich are the earth, water and fire nature essence.. so that you can combine that learning with the opening of the heart. Wich probably will be happening simultaneously.. surely if you cultivate the root. You feel so much calmness and grounded esa that life is so much easy. The heart needs one to not be attached to openings and closings. And it needs to fully and completely love the human being that is in first service to (you). Much luck friend. You are an old soul and you are very welcome and blessed in grace. ☯️🍀🔥💚❤️

@SoftserveSodium everyone does not agree that Raghu's contributions appear not worth listening to. What evidence do you perceive that Raghu has a need to ramble? I don't percieve rambling. I hear Ram Dass' ally sharing his message. Oftentimes people don't live up to the model we have in our heads of them.
@CaptainPhilosophical2 жыл бұрын
@SoftserveSodium its your over generalizing with the words "everyone" and "nobody", psychoanalysis of Raghu without ever meeting him, and your 'if X then ALL people are Y' logic I question. I don't question some people want to skip Raghu's contribution to the podcast and go straight to Ram Dass because I am one of them. Raghu has devoted his life to preserving these talks in this free podcast form for ALL people to listen to. One if the main reasons you are here listening to it is because of Raghu.
@vuduchile19772 жыл бұрын
Im with softserve on this one. It's similar to what RD says about rajneesh... The 'feel' I get from Raghu is off. It's that of a salesman and self promoter. If he really wanted to spread RD's teachings as a Dharma he could do it in a much less controlled and commercialized manner. He feels much more like a gatekeeper & businessman who is trying to profit off of another's success and brilliance

22:50 probably he did it in that way to overweight the fact that the son has left the father for so long and make it easier for him to come back. As you said when he came back they where both more shocked by Maharaji's action and less by the son's return or the fathers sadness.

Amazing stories. Somewhere i heard that some deciples were seeing Maharaji after his death(similar like Jesus story). His avatar or something like that. Does that mean that Maharaji(or saints like him) are not in the reincarnation process anymore?

When you are hugging me and hugging this world, heart open, mind quiet, accepting what is, you are remembering god; from a loving energy within, god and guru within you will speak

Just the fact that he is still serving humanity is your answer. Just as Ramana Maharshi said,when his devotees were crying due to his impending death said,where could I go.? These beings are always available because their level of compassion is unconditional.

Ram Dass is a Hindu. Hindus are idolaters (Exodus 20). One needs to be born spiritually to know God. John 1 tells you who Jesus is, John chapter 3 tells you how to be born spiritually.
