Sir, my suggestion is- at periodical intervals, when ever there is 12- to 15% growth, the total amount can be withdrwan and kept in FD with monthly interest facility, co tinui g the original SIP; this monthly interest can be converted in to additional SIP, along with initial SIP till thd goal period; thiz way our achived amout can be protected from market risks , conrinuing with our SIP!

How much you need and what year you need ? 3 yes or 5 yes negtive return its call rolling periode above 7 years there is no negative return. 5 years daughter investing for ms education 17 years time left @ 2038 identify the amount may be at 1.3 cr 15 percent consider need to invest 20k If market down at @ 2038 down ? 3 years before withdraw amount before target year.@2035 bcoz we don't know when market will down.. I dont bother amount if double or fall down. If your peak at 2035 good but if drop off. For example retirement Plan for 12 percent goal @ 3 years before. Don't invest wrong amount ? Filll your goal ? Sip 5k per month Identify the were you to invest. Please compare Ppf 7 percent Ss 7.6 percent
