I did all my training in a A22 at KSRC. 348AM just like yours. I miss that plane.

No sir I took my lessons from Skillfly located there. They had bought Dennis' old A22 then sold it not long after i got my light sport license but i do know Dennis real well.

Hi there! Awesome birdie! 👍 Regarding to the heating: In standard, there's just a convectional hose that passes some warm air from the vicinity of the exhasust collector. There's not much to do about that, except for controlling thoroughly operating temperatures of engine in cold conditions. Some duct tape on radiators goes a long way 🤓 Also, you may consider the aftermarket membrane (curtain) that goes right behind seats and kinda isolates cockpit from the rest of the fuselage. It can easily can be zipped away if not needed. Those are two main things that allow us to fly A22 up to -10 C° in light jacket 🤓

Last winter I blocked off part of the radiator and I do have the rear curtain. It helped but it was still drafty. Our old Cherokee heater would burn you out of the cockpit and this one is just a bit anemic. I appreciate your input!
