I love how the owner perservere through times of hardship and how humble he actually is. The F&B industry is a tough one to be in but he did not give up, carrying on the legacy. I am sure with the right business plans and service attitude, The Original Vadai will go even bigger than what it is now. You have done your mum proud! Thank you for sharing this story. Btw, this is the only Vadai shop I patronise, it's honestly really good but I have never got to know the story of the owner till now. Big respect!

Not a fan of vadai, until I first tasted their vadai. Can say that this is the only vadai I eat now. Now I’ll get at least 20 to tapao every time I visit their shop. Heat it up in air fryer next day & still taste perfect.

I tried Original Vadai for the first time last week and it was actually damn good?? Looking forward to visiting the bazaar to buy from them!

They are damn good but a little pricey for me but once in a while is ok lah to spend a few dollars helping them. Obviously what they are selling is considered cheap per piece.

This is a success story! Let’s not forget those who didn’t make it out of the covid impact on business. Govt never help you, you help yourself. Find a shop and pray hard that everything is okay.

I love the vadai, I hate the queue .. the lines are just ridiculous. 90% of the time there is always a long queue. Congratulations on your success and wish you great prosperity!

Yes, it wasn’t mentioned in the video but Stephen told us that he would donate the rejected pieces to the mosque or give it away to people for free 🥰
