I was just discussing with a friend the other day that the modality of cancer treatment hasn't really changed for decades. There is another side to this story. I met "Jocelyn " on the streets of Olongopo (She approached me, I didn't approach her) while on liberty when I was in the Navy. She took me home with her. I remember she lived in a fairly big house, not some tin-roof shack. And yes, I used her sexually, but she also used me, coaching me on how to perform cunnillingus (which I never did before meeting her) so she could "get off" too. I was what they called a "cherry boy". I wasn't a virgin, but I was definitely inexperienced. She also introduced me to marijuana, which I never smoked before meeting her. When I was at sea, I would receive letters from her, telling how much she "loved" me. So, between her using me financially, and sexually, you could say she "turned this cherry-boy out". Was "Jocelyn " a victim? Because, I think she was a stone-cold hustler who knew exactly how to get what she wanted from me. And, that's the flip-side to this story.
