How to make Fattet Hummus...
Today I am showing how to make traditional Fatteh/ Fatteh Hummus..
It’s a hearty Middle eastern dish that’s usually served as a breakfast, snack,appetizers or a brunch meal.Toasted or fried pita bread,hummus,and a garlicky tahini yoghurt sauce are layered in a dish and finished off with a sprinkle of toasted pine nuts and fresh parsely....
This is a great option for vegetarians..as it packs a healthy dose of protein and makes a very filling meal..
Ingredients are:-
Toasted or fried pita bread
Cooked chickpeas(soak 1 cup of dried chickpeas and cook it)
Plain yoghurt:500 GM
Tahina paste: 1 1/2 tbs
Lemon juice:1/2 tsp
crushed garlic:2
Salt:1/4 tsp
Cumin powder:1/4 tsp
Toasted pine nuts:2 tbs
Fresh parsley leaves,pomegranate seeds and paprika (optional)
