Watching these old movies helps understand the mindset of whites during the making of this movie. This mindset of WS was passed on to the children and grandchildren of whites and instilled in them to this day.

I watched this when I was a little kid. I can assure you I never once related this show or any other movie or tv program’s African natives to my black friends! This was pure fantasy and at the time Africa did have native tribes? Ghee, that would be like seeing a few white supremest and thinking all whites are white supremest? So I call BS on your comment! . We are pass all the I’m black so I’m treated differently unless you feel the need for an excuse for some reason? By the way why is a funny show like Amos n Andy racist? There were and are plenty of white sitcoms with white characters doing stupid funny things but they weren’t and aren’t considered racist shows? Does this have any benefit being shown in today’s age? What if we want to move past this and make up for our past peoples mistakes on other cultures including African. Do you think showing this just breeds hatred between the races involved, and will never let us live in harmony? Is everyone living in harmony even possible? I’d love to. All this does is keep the idea in people heads that whites are evil, making the white people want to clap back. But it’s past whites that are this evil, not current whites, well can’t speak for all I guess. I just hate being born into this, I’m not a hateful person but I’m lumped in with the rest. Doesn’t make me happy. If everyone is saying I’m something, maybe that would incline me to be more that way. But I’ll try my best with what I’m given and ignore narrow minded people. Open minds are welcoming minds. Stay curious.
