Even though it looks really crowded at the park, I still think it'd be a lot of fun!

Stunning documentary of a true mega hanami - crowds in good mood walking, queueing for yummy food, picnicking or just viewing the charming cherry trees so close to one another 🌸🥰🌸... Ram, respect 👍, I'm afraid the only way to enjoy sakura in Ueno Park for me = make myself get up at sunrise, hoping not many people will have the same idea 🤗🤣 !!

Let's start at the south entrance of Ueno Park, just to the north of Ueno Station and walk under the temporary lantern gate We immediately head north northwest sticking to the promenade We will be backtracking quite a bit, so we get our steps in over a fairly small area There will be no tea drinking in this video, I hope you brought water We walk up the promenade for a while, and then go up the staircase We turn back south and continue until we find another staircase We take that staircase up to the Kiyomizu Kannondo Temple, and continue out to the path on the other side We keep moving south to the edge of the temple and turn back toward the temple Let's go up on the patio and have a look at the cherry blossoms for a minute Now we head back to the east side of the temple and turn south down the path When we get to the bottom of the slope, we bend right and head northwest back to the promenade Let's continue north, this time a little bit further than the staircase we first encountered We find another staircase and climb it east toward the Toki Wasureji Monument We turn right and loop around the roundabout On the opposite side of the roundabout, we bear right and continue to the next T-crossing Let's turn left here, and keep walking past the pizza food truck -- it's standard pizza We keep walking until we reach the plaza with cherry blossoms, and make a beeline south When we reach the staircase down to Dobutsuen Street, we turn around and head even further north We pass the statue of Prince Komatsu Akihito, and deke right where we head southeast for a bit Let's turn around and head up to Everyone's Café back to the section of promenade we were on earlier Now we turn right again, and continue northeast toward the reflecting pool Lots of food options here, but we aren't hungry and we turn around at the reflecting pool More food options, but we stay strong and head southwest down the promenade We stop at the statue of Prince Komatsu Akihito and turn right toward the stone lanterns We stop at the gate, and buy some grilled tongue It's the same price as last time, ¥800 which is a bit expensive but we're at the hanami Rambo talks to the vendor for a bit about his KZbin page, and wants only salt on his gyutan, no wasabi Thanks We keep walking west to the Ueno Toshogu Shrine, and turn around and go back out Let's walk down to Umegawa-tei restaurant, and turn left We just ate, so we don't stop Let's walk to the bend in the road and go off-piste for a bit, and check out the overlook We follow the path back to the road and stop at the Ueno Daibutsu shrine We continue down the road to the Shinobugaoka Inari shrine and follow the stairs down and turn left at the corner of the building When we reach the road again, we keep right all the way down to Dobutsuen Street and head south to the crosswalk Let's cross to the other side and walk around the east side of the duck pond At the Ueno Okura Cinema, we deke left and walk back out to the junction of Dobutsuen St. and Highway 437 We're right across the street from where we began the video
