I love to watch these videos doing mundane chores. Looking up and seeing a house where someone else is probably folding laundry makes me feel closer to people I'll never meet.

Japan is such an amazing place. Imagine being able to walk around a city at night, and feel completely safe. Instead of gang signs and graffiti adorning bridges and walls, it's historically-inspired artwork. Frogs and insects instead of gunshots and police sirens.

So relaxing - it really works after a busy day👍🤗! I liked the walk along the river best, silence, only the sounds of running water, your steps, crickets... And camera once lowered to water surface, once turned up to the stars🌟✨, impressive! The night and your camera turn even ordinary back streets into magic ✨🦇💖!!

When I lived in Japan I walked a lot during late night or early morning when there are no people outside. From my apartment, I went to nearby Daiei or konbini bought some stuffs or cigs and then walked back home. It was calm and peaceful but a little bit eerie. Just like this video. God I really miss it. Thanks for the upload.

I prefer the day videos to be honest. Japanese cities seem way too bright at night. No smoky-night time ambience at all, it's like stadium lighting out there lol. Still my favorite country

There's something about the aesthetic of Japanese cities that's so entrancing. Though I guess that's just cause I've been in the West all my life.

Those scenes were pretty strange to me. Why those people who had found weapons immediately started to shoot, themselves, police etc, instead of just hiding the weapon and walking away? As if they were mind controlled of sorts. That was never addressed in the show.

@6:03, I see they have Big Boy restaurant there, we call it, Bob’s Big Boy, but there’s only a few left open in Southern California. It’s been around for many years but slowly going away for good. They have some really good burgers and fries, best milkshakes and other good old fashioned American comfort food 😁

I love these videos but it would be very nice to have the raw files uploaded elsewhere for direct download. Even on the highest setting, KZbin can still ruin the quality and buffering can cause artifacts and briefly downgrade to 480p or 720p versions. Thank you for these nice looks at Japan though. 🙏
