Ramble: GM-ing tabletop roleplaying for the first time since I was a teen

After a few minutes spent trying to remember how to use words, I wanted to ramble a bit about recent tabletop roleplaying adventures, both as a play and a GM. The blades in the dark book also has a good theory of why we roll dice in tabletop role playing games. BTW, I also had not DMed since almost my teens, until I did a Blades in the Dark one shot last year, was a lot of fun

I DM'ed Night of the Hogmen last Halloween after hearing about it on the podcast and we really enjoyed it. I'm usually a little overwhelmed when it comes to preparing sessions, but it laid out the session quite nicely. I really enjoyed the style that you also described of weaving the story as you go and deciding which artifact might fit where and so on. This is making me excited to have a go at the other to 2 adventures with my friends ^^
